I feel like people can't accept that as an ending because unconditional loss just isn't something you see in video games. All of the characters, including those that escaped to Earth, are dead. The conclusion to the series is that humans (and all life on Earth) go exstinct, and nobody can do anything to stop it. The only communication they got from the surface was basically just creepy necromorph noises. I mean, you see that when they return to earth a brethren moon is basically eating the planet, and the ship that Isaac and Carver are on crashes into another one. The way I saw it, Isaac failed, and the brethren moons ate humanity. Ending S is considered to be the true, canon ending. There is also an alternate ending to Chapter 8 that is not numbered. Ending S is the best ending, followed by C, D, and F. There are a total of five known endings that can be achieved depending on player choices. How will they survive Since that was the end of the original Dead Space trilogy of games, we'll never find out. Below is a list of possible endings for Dead Rising 3. One of the moons slams into their ship and the game ends there. My lunch today cost more than that, and I only enjoyed it for half an hour.I'm 2 years late to this one, but when Awakening released, everyone seemed to think it ended on a cliffhanger. At the end of the Awakened DLC, Carver and Clarke arrive back at Earth to discover it's already under attack from the Brethren Moons. I can't speak for the $10 price as I got mine for free (moon drawing contest yay) but I think I would have paid $10 for it regardless. The moons even revealed that they already knew where Earth was, so I knew heading back to Earth would probably mean showing up right when the moons did or afterwards.Īnyways, great DLC. Isaac and Carver were way too cheerful at the end I just knew something horrible was about to happen. I was actually suspecting it to end that way. Weather effects would be detrimental on Earth, would they not? Wunderbar.Īnyone else curious about the effects of multiple moons orbiting around Earth? I mean, tidal waves and whatnot. However, that means I have a psycho left on the Terra Nova with me whenever it arrives at Earth. I don't think he would kill a guy bleeding out on the ground just like that. After all, Isaac isn't some heartless killer he's just reacting to all the horror and chaos around him. I walked away with a "try that again and I'll kill you" attitude about it. After defeating him, I couldn't bring myself to kill him in his weakened state. Seeing him marching down the stairs only to disappear as soon as I aimed at him was disturbing. I jumped and pulled the trigger before I fully knew what was happening, so after the guy was dead, I just stood there afterwards feeling unnerved. Opening a door and seeing a mangled Unitologist crawling quickly towards me while yelling was a frightful experience. I really felt like I was being hunted and vulnerable from lack of visibility, and the drums would increase as they got closer, adding to the whole effect. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.įighting the new stalkers in the blizzard was intense. Overall a good dlc, better than severed in many ways and I can't wait for the next dead space move. ![]() Like that it would explode or be attacked by regenerators and you have to stasis the threat until you arrive. And I wish they would've made something unexpected with the trams. Like hearing his whispers and voices throughout. The Circle was a rogue extremist arm of the Church of Unitology led by Jacob Arthur Danik. ![]() Like that he would've followed you around from the moment you stepped onto the Terra Nova. Church of Unitology ' FOR OUR ALTMAN ' Circle foot soldiers before committing suicide. I wish however that the cult leader was a bigger threat. ![]() The pack looks awesome now, I'm happy they went mad with the redesign. Those "mother-in-law" brute/stalkers were a good threat. The new monsters and the redesigned "Pack" was great as well. The story was good, fast paced, and to the point. I really enjoyed Isaac's dementia and the hard times I had to distinct reality and fantasy. I REALLY enjoyed Carver in this dlc, he felt kind of absent from the main game. I think the dlc is brilliant because it gave the game a second run to show people that Visceral is still capable of making something really scary. I for one just finished it and is currently playing it again on Pure Survival. To prevent flooding once people have played the DLC and are ready to give their thoughts a discussion thread should be here.
